Amity scoville Condie

Amity views healing and wellness through an integrated lens and seeks to support her patients in accessing their inner resources and strengths. Amity believes that we all have the innate capacity to heal and process past emotional loads and burdens and that we can develop self-compassion and awareness to improve self-efficacy, agency, and relationships. She sees family relationships as having the greatest potential to hurt and heal hearts and works to cultivate compassion and connection in intergenerational healing. Amity values spirituality, defined as joy in connecting to something greater than oneself—whether that is God, the Universe, community, or the natural world. Amity deeply respects self-determination and empowerment and sees growth and healing as an extension of coming to know and love your essential self.

Amity is from Salt Lake City, Utah, and has lived in Palmer, Alaska since 2004. She received her Bachelor's degree in Community Psychology from the University of Utah in 2003, and a Master's of Science of Social Work and Trauma Treatment Certificate from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2023. Amity is in Integrated Behavioral Health Counselor who sees patients at Wisdom Traditions in both Anchorage and Palmer. She loves teaching and leading treatment groups and assists patients in following their healing path using frameworks of Mindfulness, Neurolinguistic Psychology (NLP), Core Transformation, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Brainspotting (BSP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

When not working, Amity loves to play and explore with her family, skijor with her dogs, create art and poetry and read good books. Back to Our Team >>
